Selhurst Depot open day, many years ago

Going through Selhurst this morning and I had a vivid memory of going to an open day at the depot, must have been late 70's or early 80's. I remember climbing on locos and a shuttle train going to and from the depot into the platform at Norwood Junction... anyone else have any recollection of this event, or maybe dates, photos etc?

Although we did a lot of shed "bunking" in my spotting days (1967-1971), I do recall visiting Selhurst legally with a rail fans club (Dalescroft??) and us all stepping carefully across an electrified third rail in the depot grounds. Don't think that would be allowed today.
