Went through Selby yesterday. All looked very busy with the bridge in the open to river traffic position. Buffer stops installed at Selby.

A long time since I went through Selby, might even be when it was still on the East Coast Main Line!

Those platform canopies are looking really good; hopefully they'll be able to come up with a attractive solution if required when the wires go up. Is the rest of the station up to that standard? I might have to pay a visit, and have a look around the town too......

So so really, platform 2 isthe original attractive building, platform 1 with ticket office has been replaced by a modern construction, but it does include an independent buffet which is good value although a little basic.
