Security alert between Lockerbie and Carstairs

Time Reported: 19:42
Route Affected: Carlisle, Lockerbie, Carstairs & Edinburgh / Glasgow Central
TOC/s Affected: Virgin Trains
Description: Services between Lockerbie and Carlisle are being disrupted due to a security alert.

At present, services in the area are at a stand.

This disruption is expected to last until at least 22:00.

So, does anyone know what happened?

Was the alert in a section surrounding the railway, or actually on a train?

Not sure, but Lockerbie now has a problem with the line-side equipment!
