Seculine Action Level

Bought one of these nifty devices today. It's basically an electronic version of the dual spirit level hotshoe accessory, but with the added bonus of being able to use it in complete darkness.

I got mine from Jessops for £29.99 tho just saw it somewhere for £26.99.
Perfect for those like me to have trouble leveling off the camera especially when using a large lens.

Recommended for all digital/film SLR users and any other digital / film compact cameras which have hotshoe adapters.

Worked like a dream this evening while out in Windsor.
Very responsive, accurate and practically all my photos are dead-on level

Quite. Don't buy a big fancy camera until you can't take any better photos with your current. I havn't seen many awe inspiring shots from Master Frederick myself.

I'll blast you back to the unit veg you started life with when I get one !. I can take great photos on my Fuji S5700, just not when it comes to railways sadly only boats, wildlife and kew gardens ...

Erm well yes that's what spirit levels, bubble type or electronic type do.. duh.

Tho it works horizontal and vertical (both left and right orientations) with no modifications

I'd pay to see that.. I doubt you'd be able to take a high-quality photo even if it was set up for you.

(Canon are infinitly better anyway)

Yeah and by buying a AL105 actionlevel you can make sure you hold your camera absolutly still to prevent shakyness!

It will come in handy, even on flat surfaces my hands tend to shake... Dave don't get ideas!.
