Has anyone ever used Seatfrog? I got an email about it a few months ago and downloaded the app but never used it. Today I was checking out the VTEC website to see how long my delay was going to be when I saw details of it again. I opened the app and entered my booking number and could see that there were 9 bids and the current price was £16. I could upgrade directly for £50 but found that a bit steep so made a bid. It said I had to bid more than £16 and the auction still had 45 minutes to run so I went for £20 to give myself a chance. Went through the payment process, where I agreed to pay "up to £20". To my amazement, I got an immediate response that my upgrade was successful for £17. Does anyone know exactly how it is supposed to work? I ended up with a first class ticket from KGX to NCL for the princely sum of £37! May well use it again!
