Evening all, just looking for a little bit of advice.
I'm planning a short trip to Scotland, heading up 6th of July and returning on the 8th. The snagging point is the return journey - I was hoping to catch the lowland sleeper from Edinburgh to London Euston late on the 8th, and on checking a last week found a very well priced advance single fare (I forget exactly, but circa £20 with 16-25 Railcard).
On looking again now no advances seem to be available for that train, nor the portion from Glasgow Central, nor the Highland Sleeper from Inverkeithing or anywhere else. Its not just the 8th though - the advance seated sleeper fare is now greyed out on the Scotrail booking engine for every other day I've checked.
The section covering advance seated sleeper fares is still on the Scotrail website - does anyone know what might be going on? Is it worth a call to Scotrail telesales?
