Seat Reservation Number Help

Can anyone tell me which number on this ticket is the seat reservation number?

The bits in the bottom left hand corner where it says-
coach E
seats 54A 56A

that is the seat reservations, it is NOT the actual ticket, you need both parts to travel.

I wanted to know because of a Delay Repay form

So in the box where it says "Seat Res Number" I just write, "E54A" or "E56A"?

In that case it is 60817.
I would ring/ email them to check what they want putting in there.

Send a copy of the tickets as they can "be misplaced" or send it all recorded delivery.

But that depends on how many boxes they give - I have only filled in about 5 NXEA ones!
Never for East Coast.

It does say If Applicable so I suppose so I could just leave it blank?

I wouldn't.

Because their is no link between the form and the ticket if either was 'misplaced'.

The if applicable is if you are claiming open tickets (no seat res.)

I would have said 4KMJX25C - that covers the actual ticket and the reservation.

Well 4KNJX25C is the booking reference

You should only write what it asks for.

Usually - nowhere on a Delay Repay form it asks for the booking reference.
If you did write it they prob wouldn't be able to use it because they (prob) havn't got access to the appropriate system.

I have just written a letter to SWT. I use the Royal Mail's "print your own" postage system. It has recently been "upgraded" (which I think means ******-up in the guise of improving it).
When you try and address the envelope certain items are mandatory, like a person's name. It won't let you put in Mr Customer Relations Manager, 'cos that's too long, but I don't know if it is Mr Smith or even Mrs Smith !
Next requirement is a house/flat number - SWT (like many organisations !) occupy a building, not No 3 Acacia Avenue.

Why don't they just give you 6 blank lines to put in what you want ?

PS: Guess what isn't mandatory: The Postcode !!!

Because if people put in the wrong or an inappropriate address it buggers up their sorting systems and self-print postage was designed to make things more efficient.

AFAIK no RM systems require a number - they are well aware that even many houses don't have numbers, particularly among posher (and more vocal/influential) people. It causes them no end of problems but they always find a work-around using house/building names, etc.

Is the ticket number not 60816? The number of this reservation voucher is 60817.

As it asks for the res. no. I would enter 60817.

When it asks for the ticket no. I would enter 60816
