My Annual Z1-4 oyster Travelcard is about to expire and I need to get a new one. From reading some previous threads on this site, there seems to possibly be some benefits from buying with certain TOC's.

If I understand correctly, Chiltern offer free weekend travel accross their netrork if you purchase a season ticket from them.
If I purchased a Z1-4 travelcard at Marylebone,
a) would I be able to get this on oyster
b) Would I need a photocard at a NR station (not needed at LUL)
and
c) would I get the benefits as above?

Thanks in advance

It is available on Oyster. You don't need a photocard, but you must carry your Gold Record Card, and be prepared for a debate or two at Moor Street and Snow Hill gatelines... :D

Is it still the case that if bought from SWT it is still subject to their performance (on subsequent renewal)?

SWT still apply Passenger's Charter discounts (and void days) for their service groups, though the only TOCs currently offering same are First Great Western (5% Punctuality discount on High Speed, Thames Valley and Bristol Suburban) and Virgin (5% Punctuality on Euston - Scotland for tickets purchased up to 1st April 2013).

Why would there have to be a debate there? *Oh thought to self* is it members of staff not understanding an offer offered by their company.

Also when Southerns ''the key'' becomes valid in London zones 1-6 would it be possible to have an annual ticket put on it (for zones 1-3) with a company cheque.

There doesn't have to be, but there may be, for the reason you stated and others.

It is just a way to minimise inconvenience for yourself.
