I'm looking to shortly purchase a season ticket from Portchester to Southampton Central.

Options I can see are Southern only £1612 (which is not ideal when they are running late and terminate short at Fareham)

£1708 valid on any Toc

Having a scan at previous posts there is a mention of a Fareham to Chandlers Ford being valid via Southampton, while also mention of Eastleigh to Fareham not valid via Southampton. Can someone confirm this please or any other variations I could use please.

Also are South West Trains still issuing the 6 free weekend tickets with the gold card?

Thanks
Andy

I don't think that Fareham to Chandlers Ford is valid for alighting at Southampton Central. Depending on your actual destination/home, viable alternatives might be an annual First Hampshire Bus pass £600 or a Southampton Central to Fareham Plus Bus Season £1663. Depending on your leisure travel there are a number of over distance annual options that may be attractive, ranging from Portchester to Dean £1804 to Wye to Beaulieu Rd route Barnham at £2604.
Believe that SWT are still currently issuing the free tickets but it is unknown what will happen under the new franchise.
