Hi,

I have an annual z1-z6 travelcard on an oyster card. I sometimes use it to travel across London and out to Billericay, buying a z6 to Billericay extension on the way, however the only way I know to do this (as you cannot buy z6 tickets from the machines or over the internet) is to go the ticket offices, and normally put up with a long queue.

If I was buy over the internet a ticket from Harold Wood (the z6 station on the line out of Liverpool Street) to Billericay, would it be valid, seeing as most of the Billericay trains don't stop at Harold Wood?

Many thanks
CP

Hi, and welcome  :rf:

Yes, this is a valid combination to travel on fast trains, as you are an annual Travelcard holder (note that it is not valid on Travelcards with a shorter than 7 day validity unless the train stops). This is detailed in condition 19 of the National Rail Conditions of Carriage should anyone dispute the matter with you.
