Yes. Although I agree that "Valid up to and including" would be clearer, to some minds at least, than "Valid until".

Generally, that is correct.

Some rail season tickets, especially those in PTE areas expire at midnight.

Merseyside season tickets have the condition:

Tickets are valid for journeys until midnight on the expiry date printed on the ticket.

So the more accurate response is, it depends on the season ticket! But all allow travel on the printed expiry date itself.
