Season ticket database

Is the database on which details of season tickets held centrally somewhere and shared amongst TOCs? I got a photocard with SET but they did not take me details at the time because I wasn't buying a season ticket. I took said photocard to LO who took my details and issued a season ticket.

If I go back to SET with my LO issued season ticket, will they have my details on file to be able to renew it or will I have to provide all my details to SET and them issue me a 'first time' season ticket instead of a renewal?

Indeed. The records at Llanelli are very much paper based! Until I got my first season ticket there I hadn't seen a Season Ticket Record Card for years!

They will need to take your details but as long as you have the old ticket they can still do it as a renewal.

As barrykas says they are not common user. I had someone who'd had a Southern season but when I issued one it was a totally new entry as there was no file on him on our records.

Do I need to bring ID such as a birth certificate? LO didn't require me to have it, but SET required it when I bought a season ticket (a child one though - perhaps just proving my age).

No, I've certainly never required any ID. IIRC the child season ticket photocard has an expiry date (one day prior to your 16th birthday) - hence the requirement for ID with date of birth on it.

Adult photocards, however, have no expiry date, so all you need to bring for that is the usual passport-size photo.

Indeed. They don't especially care who you say you are for adult season tickets, just as long as you don't go sharing your ticket!
