Can someone please help. My computer knowledge is sadly lacking.

Currently in Italy. Each time I search Google everything comes up in the Italian language. I can understand why that is. I’m in Italy.

If I put in a search for Google UK then Google UK appears. It's all in English. But if I then search for something using Google UK the results are still in Italian.

Is there a way to get my search results in English?

Any help much appreciated.

If you're on a phone or a tablet, click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of a Chrome tab. That should bring up a list of options with "Settings" nearly at the bottom. Click on that to bring up a page list with "Languages" nearly at the bottom. Click on that, then choose English, and turn on the slider under "Translation settings" for "Offer to send pages in other languages to Google Translate". That should enable you to get a translation of pages that come up in Italian.

Hopefully that'll help!

Another way of doing this is using a VPN.

I am non-technical, but the way I do it on my iPad is to put the search term in and when it comes up, go to the little cog symbol at top right and tap that, which will bring up languages that you can choose from. I am not sure if you have to do it separately for each search or it stays until you finish or shut down.I think that is how I do it, though I don’t use it much nowadays (and I am not going to try it in case I get locked into Serbo-Croat or similar).
