Seaford to Telford help!

Hello!
A friend and I need to go from Seaford Sussex to Telford on the 29th sept, returning on 1st October. Timing isn't too important as the event we are attending is on the 30th and we have a room to stay in the night before and after.
We need the CHEAPEST way of getting there and back please! Thanks so much

Look at advance tickets.

Currently on Virgin trains website, advances are available for £12 each leaving London Euston at 1323 and arriving in Telford Central at 1551, with a change at Birmingham New Street.

On the way back there is a direct Virgin Train from Telford at 1544, arriving around 1800 into London with advances at £14.50 each currently.

Currently on the Southern website, advances are £5 each on the 1057 from Seaford, changing at Lewes to arrive at Victoria at 1227, and on the 1847 return on the Sunday also currently £5 each.

If you will be doing any other rail travel with the same person consider buying a Two Together Railcard which will give you each 34% off almost all fares:

There's a £13.50 advance on the 0954 departure arriving 1551 on Friday 29th, using Chiltern via High Wycombe. That fare also includes the cost of Underground travel between Vic and Marylebone.

You may need to specify 'via Birmingham Moor Street'.

Good option, although I didn't have time to check Chiltern as well as VT.

I wish you didn't have to travel with the same person each time on this railcard!! We prob won't be doing another trip together but I will be taking a trip with someone else shortly
