Seaford to Farnborough

A bit late I know, but there are 2 of us (adults) that need to get from Seaford Sussex to Farnborough tomorrow to arrive there by 2pm. I have a broken foot so need to allow extra time between platforms with my crutches. What is the cheapest/ quickest/ easiest way? I have a f&f railcard but we won't have kids with us. The Anytime Day Single Seaford Sussex - Farnborough Stations route Not Via London costs £29.10 each. This allows you to travel Seaford to Brighton, Brighton to Clapham Jn then Clapham Jn to Farnborough Main (or, rather less directly, Farnborough North). At Brighton, you have a level walk between all platforms. At Clapham Jn, all platforms are served by lifts allowing step-free transfer via an overbridge between your arrival and departure platforms.

You may choose any trains by this route (and some other routes), but if I needed additional time to walk slowly (and arrive by 1400) I think I'd take:
1025 Seaford - Brighton 1100
1128 Brighton - Clapham Jn 1217
1246 Clapham Jn - Farnborough Main 1313.

Do you intend to return to Seaford by rail?

What is wrong with taking the 1246 from Clapham Junction straight to Farnborough (Main), luckily John has helpfully given a perfect suggestion.

No, only twice an hour.

If you have a sore foot, remember the change at Lewis will involve either stairs up or a lift and then the long ramp down to platform 2. You have about 5 mins. If you think it's too much, you can ask for help, but do it ASAP, not on arrival at Lewes. the guard, or even the ticket office can phone ahead. You can 'of course', keep on to Brighton and catch the twice an hour service to Victoria that stops at Clapham. Leaves around the 28/58 mark. No stairs, just a walk from platform 8 to poss 3/4/5. Bit of a step down at Brighton from the train to the platform mind. Again, ask for help if needed.
