There has been a major derailment of a fully-laden iron ore train from Kiruna, Sweden in Narvik, Norway. There are at least 100 tonnes of iron ore in every wagon.

Aftonbladet reports in Swedish. My translation:
As a result, the Stockholm-Narvik night train and Oslo-Narvik intermodal freight trains are disrupted. The latter might be more critical than the passenger train, since about 90% of fresh and frozen groceries going to shops north of Narvik from southern Norway come in truck trailers on these trains. I'm not sure where the nearest alternative loading/unloading terminal might be - probably about 175km away in Kiruna. The finely tuned logistics of just-in-time food supply to most of northern Norway is going to be affected.
Train 93 Narvik-Stockholm was cancelled on Sunday 12 March, and passengers were carried by road to Björkliden where they boarded a short train of daytime carriages as far as Boden. Info from Vy is here:
There is currently no prediction when the railway will re-open.

Around 3pm on Sunday, an ore train derailed the Ofotbanen just before the entrance to Narvik station. There is a fully loaded ore train on its way to Narvik. There are about 10–12 wagons that have derailed. "There are approximately 100 tonnes of ore in each of those wagons, so it is an extensive cleaning job," says Bane Nor's press officer, Harry Korslund.
Aftonbladet reports in Swedish. My translation:
LKAB [the mining company] announces that it has sent a locomotive en route from Kiruna to help pull the derailed wagons away in Narvik, but at least twelve ore trains will be cancelled.
LKAB's press manager Anders Lindberg has commented on the accident on Twitter:
"We currently do not know when the traffic can be up and running and what this means for our deliveries, but it is of course very unfortunate for us," he writes.
The accident is to be investigated by the Norwegian accident commission.
