Screen Problem

Can anyone help.
I just got home to find my Grandaughter had been pressing buttons whilst I was out.My screen has now been turned on its side and I cant get it back to normal Last resort was a System Restore to last night but alas it still came up sideways.She has somehow managed to rotate it anticlockwise one turn.

It's not a system fault usually, so restore shouldn't be needed.

Try pressing: Ctrl + Alt then one of the arrow keys. If this rotates the screen, keep pressing until the screen is the correct way.

USB mouses are fun at school. (you plug them into USB ports and you control the mouse though the miracle of IR). We clicked on our history teacher's internet history in front of the whole class (he was projecting a webpage) and found that he had been viewing some rather adult content...

The trick is to plug the mouse into another machine. Do a few in one go and it creates chaos.

That's too much effort as far as I'm concerned. We just used to swap the keys around at school :razz:

Adding another mouse into someone's computer was also fun - my old college had USB mice.

The really determined ones, however, swap the mouse, keyboard and VDU cables between 2 computers, so you can annoy the other user by ejecting the CDRom drive (by right clicking the icon in My Computer), or even by turning the PC off by pressing the button on the base unit.

Haha, well, we were never that clever. But I often ran to the computer while the teacher was out of the room and switched the USB keyboard and mouse around. Nothing was unplugged and everything appeared to be in the right place, so they couldn't understand what the problem was. As our registers were done through the computers, it meant that everyone could get away with skiving lessons as the teachers couldn't do their registers!
