Quite a tough wee quiz here. I've got some questions about the diagrammed workings for FSR and SPT units, as well as some quesitions about stations in Scotland.

1) The Class 334 mainly operates out of/through Glasgow Central, but how many are diagrammed to run at least once through Glasgow Queen Street on a passenger service?

2) The 1742 (previously 1741) service Queen Street to Aberdeen is formed by a SB Aberdeen 170 and a 158.
a) Where does the 158 work to before forming this service? Anniesland
b) Which train is usually on the front (the 170 or 158?) 170
c) Where does the 170 finish at the end of the day? Haymarket TMD all djw.

3) How many individual class 322s per day would you expect to see at Glasgow Central?
3, heart-of-wessex

4) Which unit classes can you expect to see at Whifflet station on a daily basis?
156, 318, 334 djw

5) Which platforms at Glasgow Central can accommodate a Pendolino?
1,2,9,10,11, Ascot

6) At Glasgow Central, which two platforms can a 185 not access?
4, 13 djw (and the low level station) hairyhandedfool

7) At Edinburgh Waverley, how many trains per day utilise platform 5?

8] The Caledonian Sleeper empty working from Glasgow Polmadie Depot to Edinburgh Waverley runs under which headcode?
5C11, Ascot

9) At Dundee station, can an HST arrive on Platform 2?
No, Ascot

10) How many carriages can Platform 11a accommodate at Glasgow Central?

I was thinking about the upper level platforms; there are 2 upstairs that it has been officially prohibited from. However, as they have not been cleared for downstairs, I can't say you're wrong.

2)
a. Anniesland (or at least it used to be)
b. 170
c. Edinburgh (or Haymarket TMD to be precise)*

4. 156, 318, 334

6.4, 13 (IIRC 4 due to curvature)

*If using the source I think you are, note the date and the fact that AIUI no units now stable at Slateford overnight.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
IIRC p5 (post 2006 renumbering) is only used for loco stabling and no services run into it - so it depends if you count the 90 for the sleeper and the 3 67's overnight as services...

All right, but q5 was wrong! Remember we're using the new numberings...

And yes I am aware that Slateford isn't used ATM; a wee trick question incase anyone copies off the source. :)

At the moment I could look up 1, but I CBA! Maybe tomorrow. Are you using the same ahem 'out of date' source for that (Dec06 diagrams)?

December 06? Nope, I think Dec 08 which shouldn't differ too much from the actual workings.

You have the Dec 08 diagrams already?........:)

The Dec 07 diagrams are up for the EMU's, but the DMU's are still on Dec06.
