I was told that theres a good Scottish Railway Forum being as i live enar Aberdeen but i can't seem to find it does anybody know about it?

Try scotrail-gen on Yahoogroups ... I think that's the name anyway.

scot-rail.co.uk. More a bulletin service than a message board, and it has a wiki. It is very popular and the people are generally friendly and knowledgable.

It's not used any more (see above) except when the main tikiwiki suffers a problem
scot-rail.co.uk/messages seems to have picked up a few more people from the Aberdeen recently
Aberdeen had become very "stale" post-privitisation, with the same Class 158s and 156s, HSTs
The sleeper and mail turned up some surprises, until Class 67 operation, and almost all freight by then was Class 66
The freight has changed and increased recently, giving a good variety and mix of EWS and GBRF
