Scottish Freight

Living in North East Scotland I rarely see any freight so I was surprised to see a freight train on Real Time Trains.

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on what these actually are

don't hold me to it... but I do know a HST test train will be running up scotland next week with any luck, whereabouts I am not sure but the flying banana is down on the papers to go scotland.
