Scotrail trainee drivers

Has anybody heard or has any idea when first scotrail
Will look at taking on more trainee drivers?

When they need them, when that is is anyones guess.

Scotrail do get quite a few good quality qualifieds applying so why would they need to take on trainees?

We took on a load of trainees this year (See other thread with same title) and some of these people are now in a holding pool so don't expect anything soon. Usually take some trainees each year.
