Hands up if you're for the Motherwell Depot?
I was told to expect things to happen next year, but I am curious to see what stage others are at.

I passed my final assements in mid August.
I am now waiting to move on to the next stage which medical and DBS checks.
Regarding your disclosure etc. Everything is done through Experian now, it’s no longer disclosure Scotland directly anymore. Plus side to that is you don’t have to pay the £25 and wait until you start to be reimbursed.

SR will send you the link to complete that and you will also do your right to work & references at the same time.

How long was it after tour medical do you get asked for the disclosure? I passed my medical nearly 3 weeks ago and had nothing from scotrail since.

I'm for the Motherwell depot as well.
Passed my DMI last week, which was the final stage for me and got an email saying they will be in touch shortly to advise of the next stage of the recruitment process. Think earliest start dates for Motherwell now are in April.

Likewise - awaiting further info on Medical and a start date. Good to be through the stages and await the final hurdle with patience..

Yoker. After my MMI I was told there’s vacancies starting in December I just had to get my medical. Just in limbo in my current job. Thought I’d hear quite soon
You’ve done the medical which is good & if they’ve said Yoker have December dates then I would think you’ve got a high chance of getting on that course. Maybe worth sending over an email and asking the question if you haven’t already done so.

Passed all assessments and MMI, failed DMI. Try again in 6 months, I’ve asked for feedback on DMI so hopefully can pass next time
Any luck with getting feedback on the DMI? I was applying for the Bathgate depot but had the DMI at Waverley in September and failed it.

Does anyone have any idea how the DMI is scored? I actually came out of mine thinking I'd done ok. They skipped the last competency based question as they said I'd covered it in a previous answer. I'm thinking I took too long on previous answers and ran out of time.

Myself and 2 others passed the computer tests and MMI on 5th August (already done the DMI before the change).
We are also for Motherwell, but still waiting for a medical and background checks.
Looks like there are large queues for the Motherwell Depot.
The Assessment Centre Manager did tell me there was a backlog and I could be waiting well in to the new year.
Hi , could u give me some insight into the MMI interview ? i have the computerised tests coming up in a couple of weeks also . cheers

Has anyone who has done their second assessment centre day in the last few weeks able to say if the MMI interview is still the same day if successful with them, or has it changed?

I've had my first assessment centre and my DMI but I have seen talk about it having changed between my DMI and now.
wondering this exact question , when are you going for second assessments?

Whats the average length of time people have had to wait for their medical after passing all tests & interviews?

think it all depends on your depot mate, im waiting on medical etc for motherwell, I was told in the MMI its looking about april time onwards for spaces in most depots ( as courses are planned in advance ) so i would presume you’d be waiting a month or two before any start dates as to cover their backs with medicals and disclosures etc.

Sorry been searching through previous posts about the 2nd assessments computerised test. Are the WAFV, ATAVT, Perception, 2 hand coordination and situational judgement?

Passed the second assessment last week. It's the computerised tests and consisted of:
• Grey Square
• Traffic Images
• 2-hand joystick coordination

We then had a situational judgement test (told that this wasn't pass or fail, but would be picked up on in MMI) and completed pre-MMI questions on paper. They were along the lines of:
• A time you've followed policy/procedure
• A time it was important you didn't make a mistake
• A part of your job similar to that of a train driver
• A time you've dealt with an emergency
• A time you had to work to achieve through training
• A time that shows you an be relied upon when things get difficult

I have my MMI beginning of next month. This might seem like a daft question but can anyone that's done it recently confirm if the questions provided in the pre interview form, are the only competency based questions they ask you?

Also, with regard to the situational judgement test. Are the questions they ask more just asking you to explain your rationale for whatever answer you gave? Rather than a competency based question about whatever scenario it was?

Are the questions for DMI more similar to, tell me what you know about Scotrail etc. Is there none of that in the MMI, just the questions in the pre interview form?

Can anyone who has done the online induction course confirm if it's just a matter of tuning in on the day or does it involve any form of exercises, note taking etc ???

Trying to work out if I'll need to borrow a laptop and webcam or if I'll be able to just use my phone.

Thanks
