Looks like I got another update regarding the “reserve list”

As per my last correspondence regarding your placement on our reserve list for the role of Trainee Driver, this email is to serve as further knowledge and reassurance concerning your ongoing application.

It will be approximately April 2026 through to 2027, that we will be looking to contact you regarding your placement in future courses that align with respective tractions. Should a slot come up before this time, we will let you know and arrange if you are in the position to continue.

Have you passed all the testing and interviews already?

I take it no one's heard back from 1st assessment days done last week? Had mine's on Friday, said it would take roughly a week to hear back but thought it could be into next week anyways with the amount of assessment days they are having.

Hi all. Boring question alert….For those who have done their induction recently, what time did you finish on the first day, and second day for that matter. Thanks in advance

If you can't pass the Ishihara test then no, unfortunately.
That standard was relaxed earlier this year. It's in the medicals and assessment thread somewhere but if you fail the Ishihara you should be sent for a CAD test to determine the severity of your colour deficiency. I believe the tolerance is 3.05 CADs.

Done my first assessment on the 1st, got an email stating I had passed. Just for anyone that's still waiting, looks like they're sending them out now.

Wondering if anyone has any idea regarding current timescales for start dates? I’m not in a rush as I have a job which I don’t hate but at the same time I’m dying to get started!

I passed my MMI at the end of May. My DMI was at Glasgow Central so I’m assuming that’s my depot. Am I likely to be looking well into 2026?
I’m giving this a wee bump incase anyone has heard anything regarding timescales? It’s a great feeling knowing that you’ve pass all the assessments and interviews and will be starting a new career, however it’s also frustrating having no idea when they’re going to come for you!

Would anyone be able to share a few questions that they had on their DMI? Got mine coming up soon and want to prepare for it as best as I can

Hi Joel - can you advise on the MMI. Does this happen after the invite to Glasgow for the classroom tests?
I am awaiting the next stage having passed the classroom element but not sure what comes next?
Hoping you can advise? Its been two weeks since I got notification of passing the last stage.
I am applying for a role in Motherwell.

If you passed the first assessment next will be the DMI at the depot.
