Has anyone been unable to attend an interview date they've been given and if so, what happened? Were you able to reschedule?
Just email them as they said there was plenty of assessment dates coming up.

And the wait goes on for the ones in the Monday club, we'll not all as some from Monday have had the thumbs up.

Yeah I replied straight back to the first email, and also yesterday as well. Guess we'll see what they say on Monday then. Hopefully they're not just going through the excess applications and binning them.I'm definitely within 45 mins of Edinburgh, Motherwell and the Glasgow Depots.

They encouraged me to apply in November, when they're recruiting drivers again.

Hi everyone

I passed my DMI in may and have yet to hear on any dates for the next stage of assessment including the MMI. Has anyone else heard any feedback or in the same situation?

Just so eager to move forward.

That’s a bit crap if they’ve just binned your application after waiting all this time and not even getting a chance to pass the assessments. I would be constantly emailing them until they answered.

Yeah thats my plan, annoy them until they give me a decent answer! I wouldn't feel so annoyed about if I'd at least had the chance, even if I'd failed them. Next week is a new week though, so we'll see what the criac is.

Received an email from mathues today thanking for continued patience in waiting for a DMI date and apologies for it taking so long and they endeavour to be in touch within the coming weeks with a date

Hi Matty,

I've been waiting for applications to open up again, their recruitment team said to keep a look out on their site, but from what others who are in process have said - there wouldn't be any more this year at least is what they are being told.

Have you had it confirmed they are opening up applications again in November? If so, this is great news.

Can you point me in the right direction for where I can download the practice tests?
Can anyone who has sat the computer tests keep me right here please.

I'm practicing on the testing platform that you can buy online using a controller. I've got my right stick controlling vertical/up and down and the left stick controlling horizontal/left and right movements. Is that how the Scotrail testing is setup?

Thank you :)
Hi, i have just passed DMI. I am looking to get some practice in, could you give me some info on what platform you got online and if it helped. Would be much appreciated

Anyone know if you can get in as a driver if you are colour blind?
Just to add, not only does it stop you being a driver, it precludes you undertaking any safety critical role - so you can't be a driver, shunter, guard / Conductor / Train Manager, or dispatch staff. Basically any job where you need to look at signals.

Yeah they said on the bottom of the initial email to 'keep an eye out around November time' So really good news for folk that's been waiting, just a matter of keeping an eye out!

I've had a bit of back and forth with the team and had to advise I had access to a car. I've just had an invite to an assessment centre, and I've picked the 8th September, probably as far as I will get but I'm happy ro be just getting an assessment!

Hi, can anyone give me a bit of advice and information. My husband has the assessment centre on Monday. Am I right in thinking that the interview wouldn’t be the same day? The information we got from Scotrail seems a bit confusing. Also..what kind of thing are people wearing to the assessment centre? Thank you in advance.

If it’s the first visit to to the assessment centre then there’s no interview after. That happens after the second visit. If you pass the tests in the morning you have a final interview in the afternoon.

Smart casual is okay , When i was at the assesment centre in March someone turned up in tracksuit bottoms and trainers and a hoody unreal , Someone turned up wearing there current work uniform also.

No interview on the day , If you are successful in passing the tests the you'll be through to the DMI interview but be prepared to wait a while again

Crikey, not so long ago you wouldn't have got through the door of Atrium court without a suit or Scotrail uniform on!

Hi! For those who have completed the second day of testing/MMI, how many people were in your group?
