Hi all

I completed my medical on Friday and just looking to see how long roughly it takes to get the results back and then a start date?

I have my interview coming up at Bathgate next week, does anyone know if it will be a panel or individual doing the interview ?

The email does only give one name for doing the interview but just wanting to check from anyone who has recently done this stage.

Thanks
How’d you get on?

When did you find out mate? I don’t my medical Friday too
Got an email on Tuesday night mate - I had sent my disclosure form over and just asked in the same email if they had heard anything back and they said it had came back as passed, might be worth while sending an email over? Its been Matheus that has dealt with all my interview bookings etc

ahh I see mate, I think they usually come back after about a week with both the medical result/ a start date from what I’ve seen on here. So I should hear hopefully tomorrow/Monday with the medical result/potential start date

I have my assessment day 1 on Monday. I was just wondering the timeframe from assessment day 1 to job offer for successful applicants.

I think it will be a good few months minimum. I have completed Stage 1 assessment and I am still waiting for DMI date. It’s been a very patient 3 weeks wait for me so far Refreshing emails everyday waiting for my date. From what I have read from others, once DMI is done you can add another couple weeks for Stage 2 at least, then another couple on top of that (if successful) for medical and job offer. My guess is be prepared to wait 4-6 months. It may be quicker, but who knows. This is just me guessing. I’m giving it around 9-12months from initial application. From what I have gathered from this forum, that’s pretty quick for Rail recruitment!

Does anyone know roughly how long after being told a start date you get your contract through?
Did you manage to hear back yet mate? I had an email looking for references and notice period but no start date - they said October dates are all provisionally fully booked so may be November or into next year

Quick question, is assessment day 1 paper tests only. Then if successful is the next stage online assessments and MMI on the same day.

The 3 computer based assessments and another SJE (which isn't graded), youre told if you have passed the 3 tests on the day and if so you go in for the MMI

Yes it is 3 paper tests and they tell you that in the email they send out. You then move on to DMI if successful at stage 1. If successful at DMI you get invited to sit stage 2 computer tests, SJT & MMI on the same day I believe. As stated previously, if you fail the computer tests, they won’t let you do the MMI. So if you’re lucky enough to reach that stage, it’s just waiting to see if you’ve been successful at MMI.

If the SJT isn’t graded at this stage, why do they even have it there? Just curious as that’s the first I have heard about it not being graded.

Thanks in advance.
