Scotrail Train Driver - how far back does scotrail check your sickness days?

Hi

I just need to know how far back Scotrail looks with regard to your sickness days. I'm going for train driver role.

Within the last year, I was sick 4 times from November till April . These were because of chest infections. I have been clear since late May 2018. Before that, I was sick in November 2016 for a few days.

I've already made another thread about this .I specifically just need to know how far back Scotrail looks.

Ask them. Be honest with them in the first place. You can't do anything about the past, so stop stressing!

Slightly different.

First one was asking if I could be rejected due to sickness days.

Second one is asking specifically how far back Scotrail checks sickness days.

When I went for a medical I was asked how many days off I had been sick in the last year, and how many trips to the doctors

When was the medical, and was it for the train driver post?

If it's 1 year, I should be okay, depending on when the medical is.... Bit strange they'd ask you how many times you've been to the doctor... Can they check this?

I think they can contact your doctor if need be, although I ain’t 100% sure on that.

My medical was last month and yes it was for train drivers role

It's just something I've never come across... But I suppose it shows you're high risk if you keep going to the doctor.

Can you tell me how long was between your assessments, to your interview, then your medical?

Sorry about such specific questions - I'm just worried about sick days I've accrued.

No probs ,

Day 1 assessments was in July
Day 2 ( inc MMI ) assessments was in August
DMI was half way in September
Medical was at the end of September
