It seems this morning for over an hour both TVM and Web purchasers got an ‘Oops’ message but no tickets - causing long queues at main stations as punters queued for manual service. Just the kind of publicity TL need!

I always love it when something like this happens, proves my point about booking offices time and time and time and time again

There were issues with the ticket machines at Selly Oak this morning - taking over a minute to process (or not!) payment. Plus the Trainline issues. There was a long queue of people waiting to exit the far west side overbridge gateline at New Street!

Does anyone know what the issue is/was? I didn't think Trainline were involved with ticket machines?

Happened to multiple TOC's websites, GTR and Northern were just some of those.

Not really, card payments weren't going through at stations or handheld machines either. Luckily my emergency £10 note came in useful.
