Scotrail Ticket Examiner Role

Hi.
I went through the interview process at the end of last year for a Ticket Examiner position with Scotrail and in December I received an email to inform me that my interview had been succesfull but I would be held in a reserve pool for 6 months.
I am now worried that the 6 months has nearly passed, does this mean my application and interview process will now be void? And would I need to start from scratch again?
