Scotrail Refurbished 158 701

[Starmill]

Hello all, I'm trying to track down the refurbished ScotRail 158 701 today. I'm told by ScotRail twitter it should have started on the 0639 Perth to Edinburgh this morning, but I can't make head nor tail of where it might have gone after that.

Any pointers much appreciated!

Thank you Headshot. I managed to track it down but not quite actually get on it frustratingly, due to an earlier delay.

It would be very much appreciated if anyone could advise of its wherabouts(or approximate) today!

Looks like it crept back north sooner than thought, spotted 158701 sat in Inverness today, gotta be said it's looking very tidy for a 20odd year old train!

To a non railway employee or enthusiast it probably looks like a new train, only the floor carpet might give it away, did that carpet get replaced? It looks as if it could be the old carpet, has a kinda faded look to it

Definitely new carpet! Has the Xs in it similar to the seats and was malting (if that's the right description?!) like new carpet tends to do!
