scotrail online tests

Hey everybody,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what in included in the online tests following the telephone interview for Scotrail trainee drivers?
All I read is everyone passing them but not whats in them.
Is it the same as the test center subjects? group bourden etc?

One will be Sjt test from what I've further read and the other I'm not sure, ant info much appreciated!

No online tests now they are under Abellio, just a 13 page application form! It's quite user friendly and you can log in and do a bit then come off for a break and do the rest in chunks. It's pretty comprehensive but at least you don't need to do it all in one go.
I took around 5 hours, in 3 separate sessions to do mine.

No online tests now they are under Abellio, just a 13 page application form! It's quite user friendly and you can log in and do a bit then come off for a break and do the rest in chunks. It's pretty comprehensive but at least you don't need to do it all in one go.

Deansie - the recruitment process has changed a little since its no longer First (and now Abellio) who run the franchise. Dont think there are any online tests, just a rather long and comprehensive application to fill in via the Abellio website. Thats the 1st stage of the process.

Have you got your application in? If not then get a move on because the jobs have a habbit of being removed from the website at the companies discretion once they have a suitable amount of candidates - dont hang about!!!!!

Hey, thanks for the heads up but I have submitted my application a few days ago. Was just pleased to hear it's not longer a phone interview etc. Time to start studying.

If your lucky enough and get past the original sift you should get an email inviting you to the first part of the assessment centre. Remember to check your junkmail for that email and dont worry, the email will include some practice material so you will have an idea about whats involved. Have a good nosey about the forum aswell, its a really helpful place
