So are there any remaining active industrial relations disputes on ScotRail or has the RMT agreeing a deal resolved the last outstanding one?

Given how most businesses are chasing revenue after covid, seems strange that Scotrail don't seem bothered. Or do the just expect the tax payer to fill the gaps ad infinitum?
Train catering always loses money.

Sunday's should be done but TOC side is where the problem is. The cost is rather substantial.

Incentives are good but as mentioned, shouldn't be required. There should be sufficient staff to run the service. Pushing for incentives just encourages rest day working and keeps the TOC at the mercy of their staff.

At my TOC and I'm sure many, if not all, of the others. The Union is in constant communication. Deals and agreements are done off the table all the time. When is comes to more formal and permanent agreements (pay deals) that's when everything breaks down.

The rostering system is antiquated and not fit for purpose. Staffing levels are not fit for purpose. The culture of doing things on the cheap is not fit for purpose. The railway is broken. It needs overhauling in its entirety.
Since when has the railway done things on the cheap?
It is already too expensive for much of the population, thanks to antiquated procedures (often in the name of safety -but which make people drive instead) and T&C's which have elements whose origins are lost in the mists of time.

It's high time all the unions realise that the only security for their members lies in a system which delivers for the people who pay for it.

It’s been going on for a few weeks along with other general handback repairs. Your correct in saying it’s started earlier than the last time but maybe the fleet is in an overall worse condition than last time round and more work is required? It’s definitely not connected with the recent dispute.
According to The First Minister today at Questions today the offer accepted was what has always been on the table and accepted by the other unions.
The only difference being RMT have accepted the first year of the 2 year deal that all other unions have accepted.

Trains should be back to the current timetable from Sunday.

If that's what she said she is being a bit misleading, there were strings attached to the two year deal, the deal accepted is free of any conditions.

So 21st century Britain. Scottish Government, Unions and Franchisee argue between each other while the customer who actually sustains the business gets ignored.

No doubt on i player for you to check on.
Like all politicians! What they don't say is often more relevant than what they do say.
I'm sure a Scotrail employee will correct me if I'm wrong but the previous offer had conditions attached, the deal accepted has none?

Does any one know,& be prepared to say, what the Guard & other grade conditions were that Sturgeon demanded & then withdrew to get a deal?

And are there any conditions attached to the deal now?
There are conflicting views in two of the posts above

Both Mike Hogg of the RMT and David Simpson of Scotrail said on the radio that there are no stings to the one year deal, agreement is to talks for next year.

A fair day's pay for a day's work contributing at all times to the success of the organisation.

Good point.
The ‘cave in’ settlement got Sturgeon over the chasm.
But Revenge is a dish to be enjoyed slowly & later ....perhaps.
Mrs Thatcher and the miners spring to mind!

And I think Sturgeon takes things a lot more personally.

Just like those lazy teachers who were always on strike under a Tory government, they had no qualms about disrupting my education.

No need to do that. Just cut services further and shelve future investment. The government will get its savings and the staff will continue to be paid and enjoy unchanged conditions. Everyone's happy - except the passengers, but it seems they're irrelevant to the running of the railways anyway.

Just how good old BR did things. Operational convenience was my favourite phrase

Spat my tea back in the cup when I read this tweet posted earlier today. Seems they forgot about the past few months of strikes and the inflammatory tweets they were sending about the strike.

Terribly short memory but of course virtue signalling and awards are the order of the day it seems.

Tweet Quote: "We’re committed to creating a workplace culture that embraces diversity, inclusion and belonging for everyone. #WeAreRail Find out more on this important initiative here: https://womeninrail.org/edi-charter/"
