Another fire on a Scotrail HST. This time on 1H61 Dyce to Inverness. Reported as an electrical fire.

Emergency services were called to an incident between Keith and Elgin stations at around 3.30pm on Saturday.

Train services between Aberdeen and Invernesshave been cancelled, delayed or revised as a result.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed the incident is relating to an electrical fire which broke out onboard a train at Elgin station.

Rail replacement services are in operation between Aberdeen, Elgin and Inverness, and Stagecoach North is also accepting rail tickets along the route.

I had a friend waiting for this train at Nairn but decided to get a bus instead since the train had been waiting at Elgin for some time, where is the unit now and how badly is it damaged?

Hauled back to Inverness with 43125/003-168/032. Engines running on 125/003/032. Didn’t appear to be any external marks on the videos I’ve seen.
