Scotrail DMU diagrams

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to compile a set of diagrams for Scotrail DMU units using info from Realtime Trains and a couple of other resources, and I wish to use this space to discuss any queries I may have when it comes to working out what each unit does.
I'll start off by asking:

The unit that works 1H21, 06:58 Elgin to Inverness goes on to work what? I can't find any onward working info.

The unit that works 2A63, 08:46 Inverurie to Aberdeen works what from where? By the looks of things it stables in Aberdeen Plat.4 until 16:37 where it works to Stonehaven, but that seems somewhat unlikely. Any guesses?

Finally (for now), 2P12, 06:39 Perth to Edinburgh. Is this booked an Inverness or Haymarket unit? And what else will it work?

If you can provide any information about any of the above, that would be fantastic.

A quick search on RTT shows that 1H21 arrives into platform 4 at INV at 07:45. The next departure from platform 4 is 1T98, the 08:45 to GLQ (Glasgow Queen Street).

The unit that works 2A63, 08:46 Inverurie to Aberdeen works what from where? By the looks of things it stables in Aberdeen Plat.4 until 16:37 where it works to Stonehaven, but that seems somewhat unlikely. Any guesses?

RTT shows this as arriving into platform 7N in ABD at 09:10. It then performs a move to platform 4, where it becomes 1T18, the 10:38 to GLQ.

Can't help with the last I'm afraid!

I'd hazard a guess that if anything is running from the North down to Glasgow, it'll be a 170. Confirmation on that would be fantastic thought, thanks!

It looks like 2P12 sits in 16 for a while, then does 2K67, 10.10 Fife Circle.

There's 2 services terminate and depart again from the front of 16 while it's sat there.

1H21 works 1T98 and then should go as 5T98 12.37 GLQ to Eastfield. It then does 5N47 14.49 Eastfield - GLQ. Then 2N47 15.48 GLQ-stg 5A83 16.46 STG-GLQ, 1A83 17.41 GLQ - ABD, 1B42 21.05 ABD - EDB & 5R00 23.51 EDB - HY. Hope this helps.

Almost definitely. I travel INV - GLQ return 2-3 times a week and I couldn't tell you the last time it was a 158.

Not sure if any 158s are scheduled from ABD - GLQ though.

After that it performs:

Aberdeen Platform 6N --> 7S
2A54 - 16:52 ABD to INR (Inverurie)
2A57 - 17:51 INR to ABD
1H39 - 18:22 ABD to INV
1A62 - 21:33 INV - ABD


As for 1B22, it does:

1B22 - 1045 INV to EDB
5B22 - 14:44 EDB - XHA (Haymarket Depot)

Can't see from RTT when it departs Haymarket unfortunately!

1L11 17.00 EDB - Dundee and then 5L11 Dundee - Dundee sidings.

The 11:00 1L61 Edinburgh - Dundee, is this booked a 170 or 158?
The 23:19 5L31 Eastfield - Glasgow QS (and subsequent 1L31 23:36 to Perth) are formed from what earlier working, and are they a 158 or 170?
