Scotrail Conductor Interview

I have just passed the assesment day, and am awaiting the structured interview for Conductor. Just wondered if any one has been through the Scotrail structured interview for Conductor before, and can give me any tips on how to do well ( what sort of questions are asked? ). Also, does any one know if you have to sit any test"s at the structured interview like the "Ticket Selling and Checking Test" ? Thanks in advance!

scotrail im not familiar with im sure it will all be similar whichever company you go for..im currently a conductor and i can give some insight into what might come up..

- name a time when youve delivered good customer service?
- give an example of when you have worked as part of a team to achieve a goal?
- give an example of when youve dealt with an emergency situaton?
- an example of when youve worked under pressure?


there will be some other variations too which they could ask.. there are some good stuff on here so spend time looking through them... main thing it to be well prepared for this.... it will be a grilling of what you did...how you did it and how you felt etc... remember they are looking for what YOU did and said. not what WE did etc.
try not to waffle on... keep it to the point..


you could well have some other test on the day but they will let you know this... ticket checking test will almost be certain if applying for a conductor and you will come across this test at some point id imagine.

the example questions above - try to think of at least 2 or 3 different answers as they could well ask ' give me another example '
