Indeed. To be serious for once, I have been concerned at the low turnout for all sorts of elections in recent years. Great to see so many voting, however they vote.

My only concern is in the event of a yes vote, what will I call my O-level in British Constitution?

Not very useful? ;)

The rUK can enjoy some fine Scottish TV tonight as STV are going out right across the ITV Network and also on UTV...

PS...Forget Huw and Nick, we've got Bernard Ponsonby! :)

B team !!!

Biggest danger I can see is a No Vote and then stalling of further powers for Scotland (due to intransigence in Westminster) feeding manna for the SNP to do a Hitler aka Versaille - we wuz robbed :p

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
I thought that there would be a special all-night version of The White Heather Club being broadcast tonight with occasional clips being shown of Kenneth McKellar complete with kilt singing the 1966 Eurovision Song Contest entry of "A Man without Love", which could well be a topical song title for the night of the referendum.

Shetland again big nose. Yes:No roughly 1:2.

Not looking good for Salmond.

I thought East Renfrewshire was expecting to declare within 15 minutes quite a while ago?

Looks like the record high turnouts have benefited the No vote more so far anyway

Wow, that is close.

In fact, in the order of declaration, after that Dundee result, the "Yes" camp actually took temporary lead, but then lost it again after the Renfrewshire result.

I've had enough (and am struggling to keep my lids up!) but I can honestly say I'm now going to sleep with no idea what I'll be waking up to, it's that close.
Wow. What a night!

Big win for "Yes" camp at Glasgow but probably too little too late as Edinburgh is expected to return a "No".
