Hi all,

I'm having a problem with the scenario edditor on Rail Sim.

I don't have all the tabs I should have.

For example, when I click on the driver icon, all I get is the name change option. I should also have player consist, set destination, start time and service class. I'm not seeing any of these.

Also, in the main editor bar (the top left) I don't have all the icons there, according to this screen shot in the tutorial I have (One of the official ones) I should also have buttons for destination, passenger pick up, fuel/frieght pick up, consist operation and so on.

It cant be that I've done something wrong, because I've followed this tutorial to the letter.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Heinz

I had the same problem, but I eventually found the answer, the game does not come with the developer tools you need on the disk, but luckily you can download them for free on the American version of the rail simulator website.

you need to install the RSdevtools from this website:

http://www.railsimulator.com/en/railsimfiles

Also i recommend you install the mk1 patch and mk2 patch updates as it fixes a number of issues which make the game crash plus includes the mk2 package manager to install user generated addons.
