Scania Chassis Names

I’m trying to get to the bottom of the Scania chassis naming system as with there OMNI range, some are N and others are CN. What is the difference between CN & N chassis? I use flicker and so have no idea what to use for my chassis information, WIKI says CN for singles and N for doubles but then i’ve also seen CN for doubles too and having used and looked at chassis pages on buses there N so I’m just confused.

CK - OmniLink
N - NxxxUB is a single deck chassis and NxxxUD is a double deck chassis
I'd recommend https://www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk/ where you can search bus regs and it gives you chassis/body details

The “C” code is given to buses that are Scania Integral where the bodywork is by scania themselves.

Oh right okay that makes sense so really all Scania Omnicity/Omnilinks should be "C" as there integral, and the Omnidekka & Omnitown just being "N" as there bodied by ELC?

For Scania products an additional prefix letter is added to the chassis code for products where Scania built the body work as well. Those prefixed C were built at the former Kapena plant in Poland.
