Interesting fact: Bury hold the record for the biggest win in an FA Cup Final, having defeated Derby County by a score of 6-0 in 1903. Not only was this achieved without conceding at all during the cup run that year, it also gives them a 10-0 aggregate in FA Cup Finals (having beaten Southampton 4-0 three years earlier).

That looks more like a river valley especially given that it's a V shape rather than a U shape (I'll get my coat)

True, but the valley is probably too deep to have not been affected by glaciation at least a little. It isn't a truncated valley though, so it's not as though it would have been under deep stress from ice.

True, but the valley is probably too deep to have not been affected by glaciation at least a little.

Looking at it, I wonder if the photo is from a hanging fluvial valley, joining up to a glacial one. The angle of the photo makes it a bit awkward though. *environmental science/geography student*
