Saturday 377's on Luton - Sutton diagrams

My train to north London yesterday was a 377/5 which was on a Wimbledon - Luton stopper. I also noted that the first class in one of the DMCO's had been declassified to standard.

Is this a regular Saturday diagram and is first class being progressively reduced in each 4-car set?

Only one end of a 377/5 is First Class. The other was declassified ages ago.
