What is the current situation with Sarah Siddons? Is she likely to be running again any time soon?

Further post-overhaul tweaks are planned as well as further running in, however this will not be until after the completion of leaf fall season as the RATs and Sarah are looked after by the same team.

No doubt more information will be released formally in due course.

Still dead. Resurrection seems an unlikely prospect. If you're in the vicinity of St Pancras, you can make a small detour to pay your respects.

Back at Ruislip, and has been for a while now. No updates on my previous post given, umm, we’re not even into the worst of leaf fall season yet.

General question on Sarah Siddons , Can she still run on normal 3rd rail or has she been converted back to only be able to use 4th rail.

Normal setup is for 4th rail use and would require conversion to 3-rail operation

AIUI it is not a complex conversion. It is not really even a 'conversion', more of a reconfiguration simply done unless they have undone or blocked something in very recent work (didn't it work - this is a question not a statement - to/from Eastleigh only 2/3 years back under its own power ?).

Sarah can still run on 3rd rail, and made a trip out under power (sandwiched by other locos) as part of the testing process after her recent work at Eastleigh.

Previous posters are correct however that it does require some level of reconfiguration, and that fourth rail is the ‘normal’ set-up.
