I just wanted to show my appreciation to the members of LU Heritage team for organising a really good run yesterday
After all the comments about the £150 tickets for the District Steam trips
We were on the last trip back from Amersham to Wembley Park which cost £15.00
It made an unscheduled reverse at Watford so Sarah was hauling at 50 odd down the Slow lines
It was strange to go through Harrow at about 5 mph non stop presumably because the tripcock testers would be upset at a faster speed
I have to say that Sarah looked magnificent following her overhaul and attracted a lot of photographic attention
She sure is loved by many many people
