Hers some footage of the above named tour arriving and shunting at Canterbury West and on the return leg at Minster taking the single line towards Sandwich.
The weather was pretty awful for the Canterbury section of the video but enjoy nonetheless.

Agreed with you on the weather front, it was horrible at Headcorn and Folkestone when I went spotting it . Though when it comes to tours, I have always found Saphos tours tend to have decent displays at stations, in terms of whistles and chuff's from the locos so it was still worth it on that front.

It was certainly nice to see Mayflower come back to Kentish rails. I think the two-year gap from when it last came here certainly convinced me to go and watch the tour. It makes a nice change from Braunton or Britannia doing the tour as usual.

Canterbury West is certainly an interesting station to go and see the tours traverse. Though the mass of crowds most times I have gone there recently has put me off going there as much.
