This morning at about 5.40 i heard a large train go past. Was loud and sounded a lot like a 56. Any ideas if anything was due to through either way? I could hear it from the backdoor

This is the main Leeds-Sheffield/Doncaster line, so a lot of large trains will go past! Are you sure it wasn't simply an EMT HST?

There was a 225 (I am guessing) set passed at around that time

An EMT HST passed a few minutes before also.

Not sure if there are any freight paths missing off that list though

Hmm could have been a HST but did sound a lot louder and different.
