Apologies in advance if a similar question has been asked before but my search terms might not quite be correct!

Southeastern seems to have two versions of 2F01 on weekdays that have exactly the same timings and load, but the UIDs are out by 1. Here are the links to the MTWO and ThFO versions. Unless there's something going on behind the scenes, I don't see why it can't be one SSuX? I've had a brief look and I can't find something similar happening to other services around the same time.

Is there any reason for this or is it most likely to be an administrative error? Has anyone seen this before elsewhere?

Its possible that when the train was originally bid there was a difference, but at validation the difference was removed and now they match. There isn't anything wrong with it and I suspect there is some other examples elsewhere.

One possibility is that the unit diagrams do something different on the other days and it's easier for the systems to have the split everywhere but I agree that the circumstances in post #2 are more likely.
I don't see why it can't be one SSuX?
Pedantic note, Su is a standalone day on the railway - Mon-Fri trains are represented as SX.

I think this might be something to do with Charing Cross and Cannon Street alternative overnight closures on those days of the week so perhaps the option is there to send it to either/or station, only it isn't currently planned to or is no longer required?

That could be easily managed with an SX schedule and STP splits, of course.
