Hello, this is my first thread in this forum, i've been reading quite a lot, it's all very interesting!
If you haven't already noticed, let me introduce myself. I'm from Argentina and a big railway fan. I've been once to England, it was just fantastic! Travelled 4 times in VT, roundtrips to Liverpool and Manchester (from Euston). I'm really looking forward to go back again and try out some new routes!
Anyway... I didn't start the thread in order to introduce myself, I've got one doubt about the British network. Check this video, it's quite short:

This is a same level crossing between two lines, Belgrano Sur (Metre gauge, single track) and Roca (Wide gauge (also known as "Indian") 1676 mm, double track). There is a cabin governing the cross, which doesn't appear in the video, because the guy who's filming is standing there! In the early days there were quite a lot of this crossings, specially many miles out of Buenos Aires (in this special case, they are two suburban lines, which have very poor frequency). Are there any crossings like this in the UK? Where are they?
