Following their takeover of CMT Buses in 2003, Glenvale Transport had two buses numbered 2045 (Leyland Titan WYV 45T and Volvo B10BLE S456 KCW) and two numbered 2046 (Leyland Titan WYV 46T and Leyland Lynx F279 AWW), although they were at least allocated to different depots. This remained the case until the takeover by Stagecoach two years later.

3779-84, 3791-95 and 3799 are carried by Wright Pulsar 2s operated by both Arriva Midlands and Arriva Southern Counties. To muddle the matter even further, the Midlands' original 3770-74 were transferred from Leicester to Harlow, where they kept their original numbers, and three older Wright Pulsars were later transferred to the Midlands from Arriva North West and renumbered 3771-3.
Kinchbus and Nottingham City Transport presently share the numbers 478-9, and 501, but the former only shares 822 with Centrebus North.
