hock: hhhhurrrrrgh? Surely not? They a bit like the Queen, so old that it would seem rude to modernise them. Even CCTV cameras bolted into the vestibules seems an affront to their glorious seventies aura... 
I believe the 320 currently in Doncaster won't be repainted there! It will actually happen somewhere else. But I suppose we'll see on the 28th...

Ex-SPT 156s have all been repainted into Saltire liver now, but no internal work done ATM. There is a 156 refurbishment ongoing for First liveried units, but it doesn't appear to involve anything obvious (possibly technical things only), and there's no relivery happening yet. The ex-SPT units may follow, but there's no details on that yet.
And, just for completeness, 314212 is expected out tomorrow. No photos yet. The refurb will include a much needed internal refresh and relivery.

314 due tomorrow as stated, leaving Springburn, expect another to enter works shortly.
320 work, i heard the repaint wont happen at wabtec as well, dont know whether or not it will now happen at Springburn seeing as the two are now linked?

Just out of interest, how did 314212 get to Springburn, and how will it get back?

Unit now delayed leaving until Mid-April according to scot-rail.co.uk

What's interesting is that in the second pass you can catch a brief glimpse of the cab up against the translator carriage, and it seems that around and above the windows has been painted blue, not yellow.

Very interesting how there's absolutely no pics or info on the Scot-Rail group regarding today's release (minus this being the release day). That's usually the first place I turn for Scotland's railway adventures.
As for the 314s getting the new look, it's no surprise. The things are like the HSTs in how they just keep going, and I believe they're in until 2019 when of course I will have won the lottery eighty-four times over and purchased them all, alongside Mallard so I can restore her to steam!
