Are there any plans to return to the pre covid enhanced timetable on the Birmingham to Shrewsbury?

The 196/1 fleet is currently in the process of having saloon door panels fitted, which will require extensive testing before resuming service. It is unlikely there'll be any upscaling of the timetable prior to this. There's also rumours of new stations/routes, so that will also influence the timetable due to fleet and crew availability.

Short answer: not at the moment.
