Salisbury to Oxford - Permitted Routes

Looking at travelling from Salisbury to Oxford tomorrow, and FastJP is giving me the option of going via Bath. This doesn’t seem to be included on the routeing maps (only BB), so was wondering where it’s gotten this from.

FastJP offering a route does not mean that it is valid on a ticket between the two points you have selected. It does not follow the routing guide when finding journeys.

If you enable fares in planner options it will show you what fares are valid for the itinerary it has suggested, and in this case it shows you need a split at Swindon.
