Hi all,

First post on here and hoping for an answer to this.

Somewhere on the route of the main line between Salisbury and Romsey the signalling control passes from Salisbury panel to Eastleigh panel. I know that Romsey is under Eastleigh's control.

OOI, does anyone know where the fringe point is?

Thanks.
Dave

From what I can see, Eastleigh controls the Up [to Southampton] from roughly half-way between Dean and Mottisfont & Dunbridge, and the Down [to Salisbury] until just west of Romsey. Anything west thereof falls under Salisbury's control.

Thanks for your help guys.

Only reason I am asking is that, on SimSig - of which I am a regular player - I am hoping to persuade for extension, on the Southampton sim, of the Romsey line to include Romsey and up as far as the Salisbury / Eastleigh boundary and also the Romsey - Eastleigh route.

SY01 is on the platform (Salisbury direction) at Mottisfont and Dunbridge. I think there maybe a repeater or something before though.
